Editor: Mr. (John) Baumgardner, this is in reference to your letter to the editor of Feb. 12. Is there no end to one's pomposity? I am not going to question your religious ethic. Enough voices are already doing that. However, to place yourself in the same sentence with Plato, Kant, and St. Augustine does border on the sacrilegious. After having read your commentaries over the years, I find neither your rhetoric profound nor your prose style fluid. Sorry, but you truly do not belong with such august and learned "men of letters."
